What we store
Reports. When you run an audit we save its report (the URL, scores, findings and a screenshot of the page) so you can open it again and see how the site changes. Anyone with a report's link can view it while it exists.
Your email, if you sign in. It's used only to send you sign-in codes. We don't send marketing email.
Two cookies. pg_vid is a random ID that lets this browser find its own reports; pg_session keeps you signed in. Your theme and report branding are saved only in your browser.
How long
Reports run without an account are deleted after 7 days.
Reports in an account are kept for as long as the account exists. Signing in moves the reports this browser ran into your account.
You can delete your account from the account page at any time. That immediately deletes it and every report in it.
Benchmarking
Benchmarking is off unless you turn it on in your account. When it's on, the scores of your sites' latest audits join an anonymous pool used to show how sites compare. Other people see only aggregate statistics, never your sites, URLs or reports.
Who else is involved
- Google PageSpeed Insights runs the Lighthouse checks, so the URL you audit is sent to Google.
- Zoho ZeptoMail delivers sign-in emails.
- Cloudflare serves the site, and Plausible and Cloudflare Web Analytics count visits without cookies.
