Frequently asked

What does PageGauge check?
Performance and Core Web Vitals (via Lighthouse), SEO, accessibility, best practices, broken links, security headers and SSL, the detected tech stack and trackers, and an estimated carbon footprint — all in one report.
Is it free?
Yes. Paste a URL and get a full report and PDF, with no account required.
Do you store my reports or the sites I audit?
No. PageGauge is stateless — reports are generated on demand and never saved on our servers. Your recent audits live only in your own browser.
What's the difference between single page and crawl?
Single page audits the URL you paste and checks the links on it. Crawl follows internal links to audit several pages of the site and reports an aggregate score.
Can I put my own branding on the report?
Yes. Add your company name and logo and the report and PDF carry your branding instead of PageGauge — ideal for handing reports to clients. Your branding is stored only in your browser.
Desktop or mobile?
Both. Toggle the device before running an audit to measure with Lighthouse's desktop or mobile profile (throttling and viewport differ).
